It's been a good long WHILE since my last post, but i'm naturally a person of few words. My personality is more emotionally driven. Well, today i have an emotion - that is joy!
I'd been solicited by a wonderful company to license a great deal of my artwork last summer ... and finally we're getting the ball rolling! I'm tasked now to scan a number of my works for them to begin to promote, but since they had chosen the specific pieces so long ago, I had felt that my skill level and style had changed dramatically in that period. I felt that art was unworthy. If you are an artist, I assume you've had some feelings like this! Style tends to morph over time, and skill level grows.
The good news for me is, since doing some scans of my old work, i have renewed my enthusiasm for them! I do actually like those works again - most of them! So this task has buoyed my confidence just a tad, regarding where i came from and where i am now.
